Consultation

The following local contraindications will not prevent treatment but your therapist will avoid the contraindicated area:

  • Cuts/Abrasions

  • Bruising/Swelling

  • Skin Conditions (Eczema, Dermatitis, Psoriasis)

  • Bruising/Inflammation

  • Nail separation

  • Corns

Please seek medical advice prior to booking a Pedicure treatment if you have any of the following. Medical permission in writing would need to be obtained:

  • Undiagnosed lumps and swellings

  • Diabetes

  • Haemophilia

  • Medical Oedema

  • Arthritis (on lower leg or foot)

  • Nervous or psychotic conditions

  • Recent operations on the lower leg or foot

  • Undiagnosed Pain

Please do not book for a Pedicure treatment or reschedule your appointment if you currently have any of the following:

  • Infectious skin diseases (Impetigo, Scabies, Chicken Pox or Mumps)

  • Broken bones

  • Athletes Foot

  • Fungal Nail Infections

  • Fever

  • Fungal Nail Infection

  • Verrucae (we offer CryoPen treatment for Verrucae)

Pre-treatment Advice

  • Please bring open toed sandals with you if you are having polish applied and allow adequate time for the polish to dry

  • Please remove any existing nail polish (if possible), prior to your Pedicure appointment

  • Please ensure any Gel polish has been removed prior to your Pedicure appointment

Aftercare Advice

  • Nails will be touch dry after 20 mins, allow 1 hour for nails to be fully hardened & avoid water for 4-6 hours after Pedicure (if possible)

  • Intense Hydrating Heel Repair Cream (available in store) - Best applied before bed with cotton socks over the top

  • Massage cuticles with Nourish cream or Phenomen oil (available in store)

  • Book in for regular pedicures
