Threading Advice
Consultation
The following local contraindications will not prevent treatment but your therapist will avoid the contraindicated area:
Cuts/Abrasions
Bruising/Swelling
Scar tissue (6months minor operation, 2 years major operation)
Undiagnosed lumps and bumps
Sunburn
Heat rash
Please seek medical advice prior to booking a threading treatment if you have any of the following. Medical permission in writing would need to be obtained:
Check any condition that is already being treated by a GP or another practitioner

Contagious diseases (Impetigo, Scabies, Chicken Pox, Mumps)
Infectious diseases
Under the influence of (alcohol, drugs, prescribed pain medication)
Fever
Pre-treatment Advice
skin can be red following a threading treatment so try to book a few days prior to a special occasion to give the redness time to go down
Aftercare Advice
Avoid touching the treated area for 2-4 hours
No make-up or perfumed products should be applied for 2-4 hours
Avoid steam treatment or heat source like sun bathing/sunbed/hot baths or sauna for at least 24 hours
Avoid swimming of spray tanning for 24-48 hours post threading
